Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) is an AX3000 pocket-sized travel router that uses the Wi-Fi 6 protocol. It is an upgraded version of Beryl (GL-MT1300), it runs on MT7981B 1.3GHz dual-core processor, offering more than double the total Wi-Fi speed. It is designed to support families with heavy Wi-Fi usage, and it's also compactly designed for travel use.

VPN CLIENT & SERVER

OpenVPN and WireGuard are pre-installed, compatible with 30+ VPN service providers. Simply log in to your existing VPN account, and Beryl AX automatically encrypts all network traffic within the connected network. Max. VPN speed of 150 Mbps (OpenVPN); 300 Mbps (WireGuard)

Every single ping matters. Beryl AX's Wi-Fi 6 protocol processes network data more efficiently than older internet protocols, reducing the latency for game servers to respond.

VPN CASCADING AT EASE

Beryl AX is capable of hosting a VPN server and VPN client at the same time within the same device, enabling users to remote access local network resources like Wi-Fi printers or local web servers, and accessing the public internet as a VPN client simultaneously.

Runs on OpenWrt 21.02

Beryl AX's latest SDK4.0+ firmware presents a user-friendly interface for common users to set up the router with minimal inputs, and an extended customization experience for advanced users to install plug-ins and applications. Beryl AX runs on open-source OpenWrt 21.02 firmware, supporting more than 5,000 ready-made plug-ins for customization.     Good router. Can distribute the Internet from the phone via USB cable, you do not need additional settings for this. Maybe through the phone’s WiFi, but for this you need to do a little more settings and there will be no advantage that the phone is charged from a router via cable. There are a lot of settings in the router interface, plus there is an opportunity to expand the functionality through plugins that can be downloaded or if you can write yourself.

    100%, the only thing was the shipping company was very bad and poor , they kept my shipment fot almost a week and kept updating the tracking as failed delivery attempts

    The router is working, some basic tests are passing, so far everything is fine. The order arrived in Minsk in 10 days, quite surprisingly. The package is minimalist but delivered without damage. At first there was a problem: the delivery method was indicated, which is more expensive than the router itself, and this cannot be changed when ordering, but in the correspondence it was decided (answers quickly), thanks to the seller.

    Product was never received, having been blocked by customs waiting to pay tax. As I was traveling abroad, I found upon returning the strict deadline for paying the tax had expired. Therefore, I was at the loss of the total amount, not being able to pay the tax in a timely manner (if I would pay, as I could not even know the value of the ticket). No responsibility of the seller in the case.

    This is a piece of plastic that doesn’t work properly. It heats up incredibly, but I see that the engineers knew about this and provided a cooler in it, but this cooler has never spun once, the packet loss is simply incredible.
