CompTIA A+ Special Information
Getting CompTIA A+ certified requires you to pass TWO exams: 220-1001 & 220-1002. A CompTIA A+ voucher is good for ONE exam. Functionally, this means you have to purchase a voucher for each exam. You can buy the two vouchers at the same time or at different times.
How to Use a Voucher
Here are the steps to use a voucher to pay for a CompTIA exam.
- You will receive an e-mail message containing the voucher numbers. (The numbers are important!)
- Register for an exam.
- You can only use a voucher number once. Each voucher number enables you to register for one exam.
- You can use the pair of voucher numbers to pay for each exam or for the same exam twice in any order.
Order Process
After completing your purchase, you will receive:
- E-mail message confirming the order
- A second e-mail message containing your voucher numbers, sent during normal business hours. Vouchers are not downloaded.
CompTIA Online Testing
- Online testing, with remote proctoring, enables you to take a CompTIA exam whenever and wherever you choose.
- You’ll need a quiet, private location, a reliable device with a webcam, and a strong internet connection.
- All valid, previously purchased vouchers can be used with remote testing.
